We are looking for someone to take care of our data and, at the same time, learn to build the tools that produce it.
Merqurio is an innovative and growing company, specialised in pharmaceutical marketing and scientific communication solutions in the healthcare sector, offering scientific information, medical database management and field research services.
The role is split in half: data analysis on one side, and building the tools that produce that data on the other.
It is a role designed to grow into: you start from the data and end up writing the code that moves it. For the first few months you work alongside a senior member of the development team, then the scope becomes yours.
Here we work every day with Claude Code and with agentic programming, which is changing the way software is built: much of the job consists of guiding and instructing the agent and, above all, of carefully checking the quality of what it produces — because it does get things wrong, and it does so plausibly. That is why, more than the technology stack you already know, we care about how sharp you are: how you tackle a problem you have never seen before, and how fast you learn.
Being able to query it, cross-reference it and above all look at it with suspicion when a number does not add up.
Python or any other language. We are not asking for developer experience: we are asking that code does not scare you and that you want to write more and more of it.
Breaking a problem down into clear steps, reading code critically — including code written by others or by an agent — and seeing something through without having it explained step by step.
If you have already played with agents, LLMs or automations on your own, tell us about it. Here it is daily bread, not an experiment.
We work with sensitive data and significant volumes, and attention to detail makes the difference.
It does not matter where you come from — university, a technical institute, a bootcamp or a self-taught path. What counts is how you reason and how much you want to grow. Knowledge of our stack is not required: you learn it here.
