From the patient's need to a concrete support pathway.
Informing is not enough. A project aimed at patients must listen, guide, facilitate access, support adherence and intervene at the moments when the care pathway risks being interrupted.
The patient is not the last recipient of the project.
Every health pathway contains steps that are hard to see from the outside: the time before the diagnosis, the search for the right centre, understanding the therapy, the appointments, the continuity of treatment, the everyday difficulties and the relationship with physicians and caregivers.
When these steps are not governed, the patient has to reconstruct the pathway alone. They look for information in different sources, encounter organisational obstacles, miss appointments, interrupt activities or do not fully understand what they should do.
Putting the patient at the centre means starting from these real problems and building services, content and tools able to accompany them along the diagnostic-therapeutic pathway.
Merqurio designs Patient initiatives integrating listening, operational support, scientific content, communication and measurement.
Programmes that are additional to, and not a substitute for, the National Health Service, built to support the patient during treatment and to simplify activities, access and continuity of the pathway.
Content, communities, platforms, campaigns and events that help the patient understand the condition, participate consciously and communicate better with healthcare professionals.
Structured listening to needs, collaboration with associations, clinicians and stakeholders, and turning the patient's voice into concrete interventions.
Education, coaching, helpdesk, reminders and ongoing support to reduce the difficulties that can compromise the therapeutic pathway.
Educational campaigns and activation programmes aimed at citizens and healthcare professionals to increase knowledge, encourage recognition of the signs and guide towards the appropriate pathways.
Analysis of the experiences and friction points the patient encounters from the appearance of the first symptoms to the daily management of the condition.
A Patient project requires different skills within the same process. Merqurio integrates medical expertise, medical writing, pharmacovigilance, privacy, regulatory, communication, social media, operations and contact management.
To these skills are added the tools: helpdesk, digital platforms, CRM, messaging, surveys, webinars, editorial content, social channels, digital campaigns, events and connection with the community of healthcare professionals.
